Terms of Use
These terms explain how you may use Blue Skies Fall and how the site handles information. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
1. About Blue Skies Fall
Blue Skies Fall is a motivational quote and poster-creation tool. It provides curated words, saved quote features, and downloadable poster images for general inspiration and personal use.
2. Not professional advice
The site provides general motivational content only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice and should not replace advice from a qualified professional. If you are in danger or need urgent support, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the public site and download posters for lawful personal use. You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass access controls, overload its services, introduce malicious code, or use automated tools to copy or extract the quote library in bulk.
4. Content and intellectual property
The site design, software, branding, poster templates, and curated quote collection are owned by or licensed to the site operator unless stated otherwise. Downloading a poster does not transfer ownership of the underlying site, software, or quote library. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, or distribute the collection as a competing product without permission.
5. Guest use and saved choices
You can browse quotes, copy text, and create posters without an account. The studio uses browser local storage to remember your selected mood, saved quotes, and most recent quote on that device and browser.
You can remove local information at any time by clearing site data in your browser. Doing so resets locally saved preferences and quotes.
6. Optional accounts and sign-in
Blue Skies Fall offers optional account sign-in through Supabase Authentication. Google sign-in is currently enabled. Apple and email options may appear in the interface while their production setup is completed; they are not active unless the site confirms that sign-in has started successfully.
When you use Google sign-in, Google and Supabase may provide or process information needed to create and secure your account. This can include a provider account identifier, email address, display name or profile image where supplied by Google, authentication-provider details, account timestamps, and security or session information.
Blue Skies Fall uses this information to authenticate you, maintain your session, protect the service, and support account-linked features as they become available. We aim to keep identity information to the minimum required for those purposes. We do not ask Google for access to your email contents, contacts, files, or unrelated account data.
Creating an account is voluntary. Public browsing and poster creation remain available without signing in.
7. Information processed when you visit
Hosting, delivery, security, authentication, and analytics providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, performance information, approximate location derived from network information, and security signals.
Blue Skies Fall uses Cloudflare services for hosting, content delivery, security, abuse prevention, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, and Supabase for authentication. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate site measurement. Blue Skies Fall does not use Google Analytics.
Restricted reviewer areas may use an authentication cookie so authorised reviewers can remain signed in during a session.
8. Cookies, sessions, analytics, and advertising
The public studio relies mainly on local storage for core saved-quote features. Cookies or similar technologies may also be used for security, sign-in sessions, consent management, or advertising.
Blue Skies Fall uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate site measurement and does not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
Blue Skies Fall uses Google AdSense code to connect the site to Google advertising services. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including advertising cookies that may be based on visits to this site and other sites. You can manage personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Other advertising vendors may provide their own opt-out controls.
Where required, the site may display a consent message before using advertising or other non-essential technologies. Advertising and consent practices may differ by region. Ad availability and placement may change over time and ads may not appear on every visit.
9. Data retention, deletion, and control
Local storage remains on your device until you clear it. Authentication records remain while your account is active and may be retained for a limited period where reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, or dispute handling. Technical logs and analytics information are retained according to operational needs and the policies of the relevant service providers.
You can use browser controls to clear local storage and cookies, block or limit cookies, and manage site permissions. Blocking some storage technologies may affect saved quotes, sign-in, consent choices, or advertising.
To request account deletion or ask what account information is held, use the contact form and identify the email address used to sign in. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on the request. Deleting an account does not automatically clear information stored only in your browser; clear site data separately on each device.
10. Third-party services and links
The site may link to or use services operated by third parties, including Cloudflare, Supabase, Google, and advertising partners. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Blue Skies Fall is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside its control.
11. Availability and changes
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, be suspended, or be withdrawn. While reasonable care is taken, uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, and permanent availability are not guaranteed.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or reliance on the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
13. Updates to these terms
These terms may be updated when the site, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
